Green is not a color I wear often, nor do I have much of in my closet, but I’ve recently been obsessing with the color olive green. I’m obsessed with this 3.1 Phillip Lim bomber jacket because of the pearl embellishments and cropped length. It is so easy to wear and can be thrown on over literally anything.
The army green color adds a touch of utilitarian and an interesting tone to grey or black basics without making too much of a statement. Now, I have nothing against the holy trinity of colors (black, grey, and navy) but I think this shade of green is every bit as versatile!
The temperatures are finally beginning to drop in California and that means its time to start pulling out those coats. I found this gorgeous lavender-pinkish coat at the Valentino boutique the other day and couldn’t help but buy it! The color is absolutely stunning and I love the longer length. The cut is super flattering and elongating and the coat adds a nice pop of color to any gloomy winter outfit. Shop the coat below and a few other similar ones in fun colors!
I’m all for the monochrome trend. Especially when it comes to the color grey because there are just so many different shades. This Marc Jacobs coat is awesome because: 1) its super cozy, 2) I love the pattern and the gold buttons, and 3) the fur on the collar is removable. I wanted to add a touch of color to my look so I paired it with these amazing pale yellow Miu Miu pumps that I got in Hong Kong and a yellow knit sweater!
Romantic and delicate, lace is something that can easily be dressed up or down. It has a feminine allure and will always remain a classic. I love this Zimmermann top because it has a bit of a bohemian feel but is also giving me Victorian vibes at the same time. I wore this top with light washed denim to dress it down for the day but it could just as easily transition from day to night paired with a mini skirt and some pumps! And this new Prada Cahier bag is one of my favorite styles! The cross body is easy to wear and I especially love the laser cutout design!
Denim on denim can be tricky, but when done correctly-it looks amazing! The trick is to not match your shades of denim and pick pieces that are different washes or have embellishments. I paired my new favorite re/done cuffed jeans with a white denim Ralph Lauren crop jacket and denim Dior pumps. You can never go wrong with denim, and this “Canadian Tuxedo” can be easily rocked in many new and refreshing ways!
I always just throw on a denim skirt and a white t shirt when I have no idea what to wear or when I’m rushing out the door! Because it was a bit chilly outside, I grabbed my new favorite denim jacket from Ksubi! I have fallen in love with everything from this brand from their denim skirts to their jackets and overalls. A girl can never have too much denim so make sure to check out some pieces from Ksubi!
